Our Story

AKT Therapy was born from the need for clean, buildable, regenerative skincare products with SPF protection.

Founder Janus Auermann’s work as a self-taught chef with clients in private aviation allowed her to see and experience many different parts of the world. Living and working in sunny climates, Janus felt the need for comfortable and buildable everyday skincare products with SPF protection.

After leaving her job, Janus moved to Baja, Mexico. The region’s desert is abundant in herbal inspiration and other extraordinary natural resources. There, she created her own line of clean, non-toxic skincare products.
